Poly fluoro ltd has introduced ptfe thread seal tape for sealing threaded pipe fittings in engineering, chemical and electrical industries. The tape is virtually inert, non-absorbent, non-flammable, non-poisonous and self-lubricant. Using ptfe tape, joints are permanently sealable to enduree temperature from 1500°c to 2600°c. The tape may be used with any medium, including oils, solvents and strongest alkalies, acids and other corrosive chemicals. It is available in 12 m length, 12.5 mm width and different thickness for application in pipelines.
